I’m not really sure who I should be sending this letter to, but I see that this web page allows me to give a testimonial to one of the hardest working real estate agents that I have ever come in contact with. My wife and I have a home in Land O Lakes, Florida, which is just north of the Tampa area. We both have recently retired and we have been thinking of moving somewhere near the coast as we have recently purchased a boat and wanted to sit in the Gulf Of Mexico and watch the sunsets while having a drink or two. During the past couple of months we had taken our boat, which we were trailering, out to the water, but that became such a pain in the butt that it wasn’t worth all the aggravation. Every time we went to a boat ramp to either put our boat in the water or take it out of the water we witnessed people losing it, on several occasions with fists flying through the air as boaters were trying to cut in front of each other. It was at that time that we decided that we needed to do something, as we weren’t going to make ourselves crazy just trying to get out of the boat ramps to enjoy an hour our two. So my wife and I started to check around to see if we could find any realtors who might be able to find us a home on the water. It seemed like nobody was interested in helping as we were looking for an inexpensive home on a canal leading into Crystal River and we had a budget of under $250,000. We knew it wouldn’t be easy finding a home on the water in our price range, so we started to look by ourselves and became extremely frustrated. It was then that we met Mrs Carolyn Tucker Watson. We started to work with Carolyn and we were amazed on how hard she worked for us trying to find us an affordable home on the water. Dealing with my wife and I I’m sure was not easy as we were trying to do all this while living an hour away. But Carolyn was always looking for us and contacting us with any possibility’s. And then it happened. Carolyn called us and said she had located a home for sale on a canal with easy access to the river. My wife and I went to view the home, and although it was in rough shape on the outside, we were able to purchase it for $255,000. THEN THE REAL WORK BEGAN. Carolyn assisted us over the next several weeks prior to closing, and after closing. On her own time after the sale of the house, she went out to meet septic contractors, electrical contractors, and plumbing contractors for us as we were not in town and as money was being held in escrow to fix some problems that were found before closing. I could go on and on, but I’ve been told I write books sometimes instead of getting to the point. SO HERE IS MY POINT.
