Tis the season!! It's that time of year, when folks start decorating their homes for the upcoming holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas is a time when heating up a cup of spice tea and making your house look like the season is just...well, plain fun!
Here's a fun little project that you can do while sitting in front of the T.V. watching the It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

A Mini Pumpkin Wreath
You will need a 12" foam wreath form
7-8 cups of dried putka pods
scissors
hot glue gun (extra glue sticks)
and some form of ribbon for hanging
Heat up your glue gun and apply a small amount of glue to the foam wreath. Immediately add a putka pod to the hot glue and hold in place until the glue cools down. Keep adding pods as close together as you can until the front and the sides of the wreath are covered in pods. At this point you will still see some of the wreath showing through the pods. Add a small dab of hot glue to the bottom of a pod and start filling in the spaces where the wreath is showing through.
Once all the pods are glued onto the wreath and no wreath is showing through, add your ribbon by looping it around the wreath enabling you to hang it on the front door in even inside. You could also make miniature wreaths and use them as a candle ring for a beautiful fall centerpiece.
