Sadlly this happened to me and my client. We submited a very good offer and i called everyweek with hopes that the day was getting closer. But it didnt, time passed we went from summer to fall and the bank still had no answer. My buyer a very patient, professional and determined woman never once lost her cool was worry but persistant. Two days before foreclosure is that we were informed is too late and the sale can not be postponed, the deal is dead. Ouch, but game not over. My buyer continues with her search and has found two or three she is comtemplating to buy.
The house she was interested in will also be on the market soon so she will have an opportunity to bid on it as wel.
Moral of the story "Do Not Give Up realtors" and reasure your buyers this is all of bank doings not us, "come on and lets find you another house"
Lets not give up and lets help our buyer overcome their frustration in this difficult real estate market time.
